Hartog Piller, a son of Mozes Piller and Naatje Snoek, married 7 August 1901 in Amsterdam to Bertha Wertheijm, a daughter of Levie Wertheijm and Heintje Vogel. Hartog and Bertha had four children, of whom two have survived the Holocaust. However, Heintje and the still at home living unmarried son Mozes were killed in the Shoah.
