Rika Fles was a daughter of Jacob Emanuel Fles and Mirjam Rodrigues. She was the widow of Hijman Fles, a son of Isaac Emanuel Fles and Lea Rodrigues, to whom she was married in Amsterdam on 21 February 1883 and who passed away, aged 71, on 11 July 1916 and who was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
