Hanna de Jong was the daughter of Simon Philip de Jong and Rachel Gomperts. She married Henri Duizend in 1878. He was the son of Eliazer Hartog Duizend and Beletje de Vries. The couple had eight children, among whom Simon, Philip and Hendrina.
