Abraham Kalf was a son of Heiman Salomon Kalf and Esther Speelman. He married Rosalie Meijers in 1888 in Almelo.

Abraham Kalf died on 19 July 1943 in Westerbork transit camp and he was cremated on 22 July 1943. The urn with his ashes was placed on the Jewish cemetry in Diemen on field U, row 10, grave nr. 19.
