Selma Frank born Oster was born in Alpen (Germany) on the 24th of July1892. Her parents were most likely Raphael and Rosalia Oster. She married Moritz Frank, a cattle dealer from Goch and lived in Goch on the Kleverstraße 11. When in 1937 jewish cattle dealer were forbidden to do any business. the economic basis for the family was taken away and life in Germany became harder. Selma and her husband Moritz moved to Boxmeer in 1938. There they lived with Selmas relatives (Paul Oster, Rosalie Oster-Windmüller, Raphael Oster) in Het Zand 10. Later they were taken to Westerbork and in 1942 they were deported to Auschwitz were both were killed on the 3rd of September 1942.
