The Lehmann family lived at Reichsstr. 106 in Berlin-Charlottenburg prior to emigrating to Holland in the 1930s. Gertrude's husband Arthur (born 1892 in Berlin) survived Auschwitz and emigrated to the USA in March 1947. On the New York Passenger Lists, under his physical description is listed: "concentration camp number on left arm".
