Jochem van Beezem was a son from Leentje Slager's first marriage. His father died before the war.

Jochem van Beezem joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 30 April 1935. Jochem was not deported from the factory. He was talking outside the door of his house one evening when he was taken away during a razzia.
