Today myself the son of Emile eldest son Maurice Emile ( 1900 - 1971 ) and Rupert Frank Brennan second son of Emile's second son Frank 1903-1969 are with his nephew Timothy Meyrick eldest son of Carol né DEEN eldest child of Frank born 1934 are trying to piece together the Helga story and the family from TILBURG who after all were enormous as Emmanuel Emile had 5 brothers and his father MOZES JOSEF born 1812 had 8 siblings all who formed the jewish community of Tilburg Brabant . Our side are all english although I live in France and our parents generation are long dead except DOROTHY born 1906 who died early this century .We were bought up as Christians through our grandmother MAGGIE wife of EMILE being a strong anglican . HELGA would be my second cousin twice removed ! As she would be to my other cousins too.

Willy Deen had an uncle Emmanuel Emile born 1860 died Paris 1925 married an english woman Maggie Arbon and have 5 children bought up in England . Emile as he was known was a successful oil trader and arranged marriage of Royal Dutch and Shell .
