Gregor came to the Netherlands in December 1938. First he stayed in The Hague, but very soon he was transferred to the quarantine station in Rotterdam.
In January 1939 Gregor asked for material to put together a "Lager-Nachrichten-Blatt".
Both in the quarantine station and in the home on the Westersingel Gregor worked at the administration. From april 1940 on he lived with his parents.
