Auguste, wife of Ernst Erich Heilfron, was the daughter of David and Minna Jacobsohn, née Cohn of Schönlanke. Auguste’s siblings were Georg, Henriette, Hermann, Max, Julius and Saly.
Auguste’s son from her first marriage, Heinz Joachim Wollstein, born 12 June 1909 in Sommerfeld, had already immigrated from Berlin to the Netherlands in 1933 where he lived in Amsterdam as a garments merchant. In 1943 he was held prisoner in Mechelen until his own deportation to Auschwitz on 31 July; he was murdered on 3 August 1943.
