In the 1930s Margot Kuttner-Scholtz and her husband lived in Karlsruhe at Beiertheimer Allee 3a. In 1933 her husband sold his share in his family’s ironmonger’s business in Karlsruhe and the couple emigrated to Amsterdam in October that year. Her husband began a textiles business there.
