Salomon Mozes was a male nurse. He settled in Tilburg in 1929. He was married to Kaatje Zilverberg. The couple had two children: Roosje Salka Mozes and a child who survived the war. Their foster son Horst Eichenwald lived with them as well.
In April 1943 the family reached Vught concentration camp. Salomon Mozes was sent to Westerbork on an infirmary transport and was subsequently deported to Sobibor. Roosje Salka Mozes, Horst Eichenwald and Kaatje Mozes-Zilverberg were sent to Sobibor on the children's transport via Westerbork. The child who survived worked for Philips and later for Telefunken at Vught.
