Hijman Sloves, a former postal worker, was married to Rebekka de Roode. Together with his spouse he attended the wedding of their daughter Elisabeth Sloves to Michel Salomon van Dantzig. The wedding was performed at Westerbork transit camp on 14 October 1942. They signed the marriage certificate.
