David Schlosser, the son of Gompert Schlosser and Lea Keizer, married on 24th July 1912 in Markelo to Eva Cohen, the daughter of Anthonie Cohen and Sophia Polak. David and Eva had two children: Sophia and Gompert Gerrit.

The squad commander of the Military Police in Good requested on behalf of the Sicherheitsdienst in Arnhem that David Schlosser, merchant, and Gombert Gerrit Schlosser, merchant, both living in Markelo at the address M42 Bergweg be located, detained and brought to trial.
Description of David Schlosser: 'height approx. 5'3", grey eyes, grey hair, slight build, dresses in dark blue suit, dark blue raincoat, black high shoes and grey cap'.
Description of Gompert Gerrit Schlosser: 'height 5'9", black hair, stout build, long nose, dressed in dark blue striped costume, brown tweed coat, black high shoes and grey hat'.
Other information given: 'Neither Jew probably still wears a David's star. They left their home on 22 August 1942 and are on the run. On 23 August, they were last seen in Vroomshoop. Both Jews are suspected of carrying out an illegal profession. Both are in possession of their identity card.'
