Adolf Horneman and his family

Adolf Horneman was married. He and his wife had two children. The family lived in Amsterdam. Adolf Horneman was a bookkeeper. As a member of the resistance, he helped people in hiding. He was betrayed and picked up by the Grüne Polizei on 13 October 1942 and held at the house of detention on the Weteringschans. From there he was deported to Auschwitz via the camps at Amersfoort and Vught. Adolf Horneman's wife survived the war.
