Emanuel Francken married the widow Rachel Tas, the seventh of the eight children born from the marriage between Isaac Tas and Betje Swart, in Amsterdam on 19 October 1938. No children were born from this marriage.
Rachel Tas had been married previously to Josua van Beem, son of Meijer van Beem (deceased before the war) and Branca Bleekveld. Three children were born from the marriage between Josua van Beem and Rachel Tas: Branca, Elisabeth and Sara.
Copies remain of the marriage certificate of Josua van Beem and Rachel Tas, the marriage certificate of Emanuel Francken and Rachel Tas and the birth certificates of the three Van Beem children Branca, Elisabeth and Sara.
