Benjamin Mossel sent a telegram from the Hollandsche Schouwburg to Mrs. De Wit reporting that he and his wife were at the Hollandsche Schouwburg and asking her to send 15 guilders to the Jewish Council and food to the Hollandsche Schouwburg.
Benjamin sent someone else in Amsterdam a request for food and for men's trousers, soap, knives and lozenges.
These requests and a list of the luggage of Benjamin Mossel remain. Postcards that Benjamin Mossel wrote from Westerbork to the De Wit family and the Leest family remain as well.
