Samuel Kan en Mietje Leverpoll married in June 1894 in Borculo. They had six children. Three of them died shortly after their birth. The other three survived the war: Henriette Kan (1896-1968), Salomon Kan (1900-1981) en Rika Kan (1903-1995). All three died in Israel.
