David de Isaac Brandon Bravo was the son of Isaac de Moses Brandon Bravo and Esther de Abraham Rodriques de Miranda.
David married in 1894 in Amsterdam. He and his first wife had two children: Esther and Isaac, who died short after birth. In 1902 David married for the second time to Hanna de Vries. David and Hanna had six children: Isaäc, Jacob, Salomon, David and two children who surived the war. After a second divorce David married in 1927 to Roosje de Abraham Stuiver, who died in 1932. In 1939 he married to Helena Druijf, daughter of Juda Druijf and Henriette Cohen.
