Jacob Schravien and his wife lived in the 2nd Jacob van Campenstraat 69 in Amsterdam. They were married with community of property. They had no children. Jacob Schravien was a fitter by trade.
They went into hiding, but were caught on 28 October 1943 by the Sicherheitspolizei. At the time, several gold ten-guilder and five-guilder pieces were confiscated. On 4 March 1944, they were deproted from Westerbork to Auschwitz. On this occasion, a few valuable items of jewellery were seized from Jacob Schavrien's wife, as well as both their wedding rings.
His wife survived Auschwitz and returned to the Netherlands.
