Wolf Les was a son of Philip Les and Jetje Baks. He married Mathilda Swart in 1927 in Amsterdam.

Wolf Les, a flower peddler and a son of Philip Les and Betje Baks, married Mathilda Swart, the fourth child of Marcus Swart and Betje van Beezem, in Amsterdam on 5 January 1927. The couple had four children: Jetje, Beppie, Clara and Sara. The last address of the family prior to their deportation was 15 Schalkburgerstraat, second floor, in Amsterdam.
Upon arriving at Westerbork, Wolf Les had the amount of 2.08 guilders with him, which he had to surrender to associates of the Liro looting bank stationed at Camp Westerbork. This is indicated in a document of the 'Liquidatie of Verwaltung Sarphatistraat'.
Copies of the marriage certificate of Wolf Les and Mathilda Swart and of the birth certificates of Mathilda Swart, Wolf Les, Beppie Les, Clara Les and Sara Les remain as well.
