Hendriëtte Cohen was the daughter of Simon Heiman Mozes Cohen and Jeena Blok. She had been married to Joseph Cohen.

Hendriëtte Cohen married Joseph Cohen in 1874. After nine years of marriage Joseph died. The couple had five children. Non of them survived the war.
