Isaac Blitz was a son of Marcus Blitz and Parle da Costa da Fonceca. He married 1 July 1908 to Keetje Schoenlapper from Almelo Stad, a daughter of Manus Schoenlapper and Rachel Samuel. However Keetje passed away in Amsterdam on 9 July 1922 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen. The couple had six children: Rachel, Parle, Sientje, Mietje and two sons named Marcus, who both have died at very young age.
After the death of Keetje Schoenlapper, Isaac Blitz remarried Grietje Kortoef on 25 July 1925. She was a daughter of Joseph Kortoef and Marianne Kartoef. Together, Isaac and Grietje had also five children, Hendrika, Mina, Joseph, Marcus and Rozet, who all have been killed in the Holocaust too.
Isaac had another brother 483470 and a sister 508274.
