Jette Falkenstein got married in 1875 to Jona Heiman Frankenhuis (1832-1900).
During the occupation, physician J.M. Scaf accommodated as many Jewish older people as possible in the St Antonius Hospital in Haaksbergen. Among them was Jette Frankenhuis-Falkenstein. She died there on 15 January 1942, at the age of 93. At the time of her death, she was the oldest resident in Haaksbergen.
