In the book E. Hartstock, R. Otto, Juden in der Oberlausitz (Bautzen 2008) 97 one can find under the subtitle The plunder of the last valuable belongings, page 93 some quotations from a letter of Therese Wassermann. She wrote this letter on 6 December 1938 to her son Willy Wassermann, who lived in Amsterdam since 1932/33. In this letter she tells her son about the sale of their parcel Reichenstrasse 15 in Bautzen. After the sale of this parcel, Therese Wassermann could not stay any longer in her house in Bautzen and had to leave the city. On 7 October 1938 she found a place to stay, with the Jewish Brieger family in Dresden.
