Isaac Emmerik was a son of Jacob Emmerik and Branca Fortuijn. He married 14 September 1911 in Amsterdam Saartje Cohen, daughter of Emanuel Cohen and Rosa Cohen. the couple had six children: three of them lived at home with their parents: Jansje, Betje and Dientje. The other three were already married and lived at their own: Branca, Roza and Jacob. None of them have surived the Holocaust.
