Eliazer Sluijzer, a son of Mozes Sluijzer and Judith Pront, married 13 August 1914 in Berchem (Belgium) Rachel Leeda, a daughter of Gideon Leeda and Hendrika Levi.
The couple had seven children: One baby-daughter died 2 days after being born in 1924 and one son died in 1919, 6 months old. The others were Hendrika, Judith and here mentioned Benjamin. Then they had their children Mozes and Gideon, who lived in Antwerp; their son Mozes, was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy XV on 24 October 1942 and possibly killed upon arrival there; Gideon has survived the war.
