Mozes Blom was the widower of Sophia van Praag (1852-1917). With her he had seven children, two of whom are already deceased at the age of one (Kaatje Blom 1879-1880 and Wolf Blom 1890-1891). His daughter Flora Blom (born 1884) died when she was twenty-nine years of age. The other children, two sons and two daughters, founded their own families.
His daughter Kaatje (Kaatje Ossendrijver-Blom, geb. 1894) lived with her husband Jacob Ossendrijver in Rotterdam, she had two daughters and two sons. The rest of the family stayed in Den Haag: Maurits Blom (born 1883) had with his wife Betje Hakker three daugthers and one son; Naatje (Naatje Tokkie-Blom, born 1896) had with her husband Mozes Tokkie two daughters and two sons; the eldest son Nathan did not have children and took his father into his house. None of his children and only one of the twelve grandchildren - of whom some had children of their own - survived the war.
