The Bussum police commissioner requested that Arthur Hirsch, a shoe manufacturer by trade, his wife Lily Hirsch-Zweig and their son Alfred Werner, who still attended school, be located, detained and brought to trial. They lived at 14 Regentesselaan in Bussum and were suspected of having changed their place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
