Anna Bosboom was a daughter of Andries Bosboom and Reina van de Kar. She married 18 June 1902 in Amsterdam to Simon van der Hoeden, who however passed away on 6 Augusty 1929 in Medemblik.
The couple had six children, of whom Isaac died on 21 May 1907, only 12 days old. The other children were Elisabeth, Andries, Reina, again an Isaac and Salomon.
Anna was born in a family with nine children in total, of whom six children did not survive the Holocaust: she self, Salomon, Marianne, Hartog, Eliazer and Grietje.
