Jacob Bamberg was the son of Benjamin Bamberg and Tetzchen Mannsbach. He married Aleijda (or Allyda) Manessen, daughter of Nathan Menassen and Hendelina Polak. The couple had two children: Mathilde and Hendelina Regina.
