Henriette (Jet) Bonn and a female friend of hers were active members of the KGOB (a youth group for teetotalers). They had fun but also spent hours discussing their idealistic visions of a better world. In later years, the friend’s children knew Henriette Bonn as ‘Tante Jet’ (Aunt Jet).
