Hartog Isaäc van Gelder was known as Harrie. He lived at the Paviljoen Loosdrechtse Rade youth aliyah home in Loosdrecht from 1 April 1942 until 7 December 1942. He went into hiding. He was caught in Het Witte Paard, on the heather between Loosdrecht and Hilversum.

The mayor of Loosdrecht requested that Hartog Isaäc van Gelder, who had violated regulations by changing his place of residence without permission, be located, detained and brought to trial. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding. He was a resident of Loosdrecht.
