About Elie Kleinkramer

Elie Kleinkramer was a son of Simon Kleinkramer and Betje den Hartog. He married Hester park on 3 January 1917 in Rotterdam, a daughter of Emanuel Joseph Park and Jetje van Leeuwen. The couple had two children, namely Betje in 1917 and Emanuel Joseph in 1921.

The marriage of Elie and Hester however did not last and ended in a divorce on 5 Januari 1932. Elie Kleinkramer remarried 20 November 1932 to Geertruida van der Stam, a daughter of Joseph van der Stam and Sibilla Mendels. She was previously married (in 1918) and divorced from (in 1930) Mozes van Hachgenberg and from that wedlock two children have been born, who both have surived the war, just as the father of those children. 

On 26 February 1936 Geertruida van der Stam moved with both her children from her first marriage to Schiekade 180b in Rotterdam and left Rotterdam on 18 Augustus 1936 for the Borneolaan 47 in Hilversum. Geertruida's latest addres in Hilversum was Gijsbrecht van Amstelstraat 308. From there she has been eventually deported to Sobibor where she has been killed on 23 July 1943 upon arrival there.

Elie Kleinkramer lived since 1936 "separated" from his 2nd wife and his latest known address was that from his brother Hartog Kleinkramer and his family at Oostzeedijk 104C in Rotterdam. On 28 November 1942 he was registered in Camp Westerbork and had to stay in barack 71. Eventually, Eli was deported on 20 July 1943 to Sobibor where he too has been killed upon arrival there on 23 July 1943.
