About Marie Klijnkramer-Feingersch

Marie Feingersch arrived in Amsterdam as a refugee on 23 May 1939. From 5 July 1941 until 31 December she was in charge of housekeeping and managed the kitchen at Huize Voorburg, the youth aliyah home in Elden. This home at the southern edge of Arnhem was intended for Palestine pioneers ages 16 to 19.

Gerrit Klijnkramer and Marie Feingersch were married at Westerbork transit camp on 22 May 1943. Gerrit, a shop assistant, was a son of Mozes Klijnkramer and Roosje Groen, both deceased. Marie Feingersch, an agricultural worker, was a daughter of Isaak Feingersch and Rebekka Asronenska.
