Izaäk Speijer was a son of Elkan Aron Speijer and Saartje de Vries.

On Saturday 11 April 1942 at 7 o'clock pm, ten Jewish residents of Leeuwarden were arrested in revenge for the removal of the plaque 'Forbidden for Jews' that had been fixed to a bench in the Vossepark. They were transferred to Amersfoort camp. Izaäk Speijer was among them. He lived at 58 Vredeman de Vriesstraat in Leeuwarden.
