Suzanna Maarsen was deported to Sobibor in June 1943 from Vught via Westerbork on the so-called children's transport. She was 15 when she died.

In September 1941 Suzanna Maarsen was enrolled in Grade 2 of the municipal commercial secondary school for girls, M.S.v.M. dept., in The Hague. In October 1941 Suzanna Maarsen had to transfer to Grade 3 of the Joods Lyceum.
