Heintje Canes, daughter of Jesaias Canes and Matje Fransman married 16 February 1898 in Amsterdam to David van de Kar, a son of Salomon van de Kar and Betje Smeer. The couple had nine children, of whom two have died in childhood and one has survived the Holocaust.
After the passing of David van de Kar, she married Abraham Snoek (1868) in 1929. This marriage lasted till 1931.
