About Rudolf Hartogs

Rudolf Hartogs was unmarried. He was a textile technician. At the request of a member of the Ordedienst (OD), he hid weapons and explosives in the autumn of 1941. On 18 April 1942, he was caught by the SD during a raid on 143 Noorder Amstellaan in Amsterdam. He was respectively emprisoned in the Amsterdam Remand centre at the Weteringschans, Scheveningen, Haaren, Utrecht (in the prison in the Gansstraat), Amersfoort and Vught. From Vught, he was taken to Leusderheide where he was executed.
