David Luza, a son of Salomon Luza and Eva Berkhof,
married 12 December 1921 in Amsterdam to Katharina Maria Waldforst from Kalk (Germany), a daughter of Jacob Waldforst and Katharina Marian Heimann. This marriage ended by divorce on 8 May 1929 and David Luza then married on 8 October 1931 in Amsterdam to 533979. This marriage was dissolved on 2 March 1932 and David Luza remarried afterwards again on 1 September 1932 in Amsterdam to Leentje Veldman, a daugther of Mozes Jozefs Veldman en Jeltje Salomons van der Woude.
David was born in a family with ten children, of whom two children have died before the war and three sisters have survived the war. The other siblings were Betje, Anna, Bernard and Mietje; they have been killed during the Holocaust.

According to a list with shops of Jewish owners, compiled by the Amsterdam police in 1940, David Luza had a men's clothing shop, address: Haarlemmermeerstraat 87 in Amsterdam.
