Rebecca Mietje Swaab was a daughter of Salomon Levie Swaab and Sara Swaab. She married 25 October 1933 in Amsterdam to Barend Boot, a son of Israel Boot and Henrietta van Gelderen. The couple had one son: Israel.
Rebecca Mietje was born in a family with in total elven children, of whom two children have died very young and four daughters have survived the war, however one brother-in-law, Mozes Wegloop, just as Rebecca Mietje's other siblings: Ruben Salomon, Sally, Mozes and Barend, have been killed all during the Holocaust.
