The Apeldoorn police commissioner requested that Mozes Gans, residing in Apeldoorn, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
The second appeal from the Apeldoorn police commissioner for Mozes Gans to be located, detained and brought to trial appeared a month later.
