Salomon Elias de Groot was a son of Elias Salomon de Groot and Anna Potzer. He was married to Roosje Peper, who was born 14 March 1871 and who passed away 19 July 1933 in Amsterdam. She was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
The couple had five children: Elias, Philip, Elisabeth, Levie and Anna.
