Philip Pijpeman was a son of Hartog Pijpeman and Sara van der Sluis. He married in Rotterdam on 19 August 1891 to the 16-year old Klaartje Schreeuwer, daughter of Wolf Mozes Schreeuwer and Esther Cosman. On 20 May 1928 Klaartje passed away in Rotterdam, 53 years old.
Philip Pijpeman remarried then on 7 November 1928 in Rotterdam to Rebecca Brandon, age 55, daughter of Joseph Abraham Brandon and Judic Zwaab. She was the widow of Joseph van Hachgenberg, who passed on 18 April 1923, 52 years old.
Philip's 3rd marriage was on 25 February 1931 in Rotterdam to Schoontje Haagman, aged 54, daughter of Levie Haagman and Sara van den Berg. Two years earlier, Schoontje had became a widow (on 18 December 1929) of Jacob Stad, 53 years old, a son of Simon Stad and Betje Nachtegall.
Philip Pijpeman and Klaartje Schreeuwer were the parents of eleven children: Hartog, Meijer, Josephine Rebecca, Wilhelmina Helena Paulina Maria, Saartje Rachel and Louis.
Their son Wolf emigrated to Australia in 1916, their daughter Jansje passed in 1927, 32 years old and two children, Esther and Mietje have survived the Holocaust.
