The Gouda police commissioner requested that the following person 'of Jewish parentage,' suspected of having changed her place of residence without the required authorization, be located, detained and brought to trial: Bertha Helena Sara Mayer, residing at 39 Zoutmanstraat in Gouda. She had left Gouda on 12 July without the required authorization and had been missing since then. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

According a statement of the Information Office of the Dutch Red Cross dated 17 June 1950, it has been appeared that Bertha Helena Mayer was deported from Drancy (France) to Auschwitz on 31 August 1942.
