David Braunberger was a son of Moses Braunberger and Elisabeth Schnitzler. On 10 October 1898 in Rossum he was married to Dina Mozes, a daughter of Eduard Mozes and Henriette Hendrix. The couple lived on several addresses in Amsterdam. Their last address in the city was Falckstraat 14. In March 1941 they moved in with their family-in-law in Harderwijk.
