Elisabeth Sanders was the daughter of Roosje Springer. Her parents were divorced. In 1941 she and her sister liver with the Nordon sisters at the Hagelsteeg 15a in Zwolle. Elisabeth Sanders was transported to Westerbork in November 1942. There she was placed in the orphanage. A year later she died in Auschwitz.
