Abraham Roet was a son of Bension Roet and Kaatje Mok. He married 21 March 1928 to Bertha Appelboom, daughter of Isaac Appelboom and Rebecca Bronkhorst. They had two children: Bension and Rebecca. Bertha however passed away 22 October 1935 and Abraham remarried 8 September 1937 to Aaltje Reens. From this marriage their son Max was born.
