David Lisser was a son of Aron Lisser and Sara Milhadao. David Lisser married Rosa de Hond on 29 November 1893 in Amsterdam. The couple had six children of whom daugther Anna died in childhood. (1899-1900). The two oldest children (Sara and Gompert), survived the Holocaust but not Naatje, Mina and Aron.
