Sophie Naatje Vromen was the daughter of Benjamin Vromen and Jula Theresa Zilversmit (1891-1930). In May of 1932, she moved house to Utrecht. She probably was sent to the Centraal Israelietisch Weeshuis, together with another child from the Vromen family, who survived the war. Later on, Sophie Naatje moved to Amsterdam.
